World Child Cancer site is a simple to use extensible site with a series of custom content types and small modules to provide an intuitive user interface based on the admin module.

This enabled us to produce a clear and elegant interface simply by editing the permissions and enabling a few items in the admin menu.

A bit of judicious mucking about with GMap module enables google maps to be automatically generated from locations in the projects section

Custom modules along with CCK were used to provide random header images and a slideshow effect on the main page. This is mainly because it always seems quicker to write your own module than set up views slideshow (which also uses the jquery cycle plug-in).
